No, here is what you do: Shut your computer, turn off your phone, and meditate on the situation for about 5 minutes. Then open your eyes and start over, but this time meditate on the last set-back you faced. Picture in your mind how you felt in that time and what you did to overcome that setback. Then begin to formulate a plan for how to do the same thing again. Resilience is built by navigating challenges. So, navigate! :)

I don't think we bounce back from setbacks. We propel forward. When we have a learner's mindset, we can see setbacks as part of the growth process. This can be a painful and long process sometimes. Changing the verbiage to propelling forward helps us know that our goal is not just to get through a challenge and return to a previous version of normal. Instead, we can take time to acknowledge the challenges of setbacks, seek support, take a pause if needed, and then focus on moving forward with gained knowledge and experience. This can help us become better versions of ourselves as we focus on forward movement instead of returning to some past version of ourselves.
