Setting boundaries is very essential for both work/life balance. Set your first week with timetable and with the Office routine as well. Slowly & simultaneously you will be clear within a month. From second monthly onwards your vision will be very clear & will be by hard in your own mind itself.

I have found people are not keen to use technology as they are not familiar with its benefits. This is where teams can help each other by demonstrating benefits. Simple example, I encouraged our offshore team to start using a simple sharing tool like Sharepoint for information which was being shared on email and that made life easy for all as the information was available anytime and at one place.

Make faith & feel free to ask questions which they don't understand. Understanding the things & then doing them will make improvement's rather than not understanding. When the direction is clear, you can easily run. But, if you don't then how will you move towards which direction.
