Hypothesis testing is our bread and butter as PMs, really. And in our own business ventures, it's important to set clear goals and metrics, as well as be realistic regarding time we can dedicate. Plus, if some hypotheses are successful, it's worth thinking about outsourcing the task of keeping it going. Say, you can outsource copywriting, advertising, coding, partner outreach, and many more. Beware of splitting strategic tasks into several people. I'd say, more than 2-3 cofounders/C-level decision makers are over the top, unless you are a team of 15-20 full-time employees with a funding round.

This will improve your thinking capacity and help you brainstorm the best ideas. Thinking alone is also not sufficient you need to write down the best ideas, refine them, and connect them to create something out of it. What's your moment as PM? What is your goal? Set priorities and allocate your time accordingly. Don't lie to yourself. Today I'm an entrepreneur but my main goal now is to become product director where I work. So I dedicate a small percentage of my work to that and I do this by automating, using tools or outsourcing as much as possible. Don't forget to have concrete goals to ensure that my business doesn't stagnate - weekly goals works well for me.

Having a routine is helping me keep track of my time. Emergencies happen more often than we'd like when we're entrepreneurs. That's why I like to set aside time in the morning to focus on my mental and physical health. If unexpected things happen, we've got the important stuff done. Also, setting aside days and times to be with the people you love. I work as much as possible on the other days to ensure that I can be with these people without having to worry about work.

Weekly planning cycles help you learn one week and put it into practice the next. Have clear objectives for each week, check whether you've achieved your goal, write down your learning and put it into practice straight away. This will help you learn quickly and enter into a fast cycle of improvement

Learning continuously doesn't require you to sit in a room alone with no noise around. There are 100s of ways to continue learning in any situation and surrounding. Using the Medium app while traveling on a bus to read articles, listening to Podcasts, and reading ebooks are some methods for learning.
