The key is to ensure that, over time, you find harmony between work, family, and self, while accepting that there will be short-term spikes in focus among these areas.

In my view, following steps could be taken: 1. Identify your boundaries (e.g., no work beyond 6 pm except for emergencies) 2. Prioritise tasks based on impact & effort 3. Schedule tasks in the calendar vs 'to-do' list 4. Block the most productive time of your day for the task with the highest impact which typically requires creative, non-linear thinking 5. Cut out all distractions (i.e., notifications) during the day 6. Follow 25/5 model : 25 mins of focused work followed by 5 mins of break 7. Schedule inbox checks to twice a day (block it in your calendar)

Don't get it wrong. Nothing in professional strategy management is incompatible with family life. Now, apply some strategy concepts. What is more important for you?
