As volunteer managers, our presence with the volunteers builds and adds more on to the trust between manager-volunteer, especially when their field of work is spread across the country. Constant emails, phone calls, text messages and especially our physical presence with the volunteers through visitations add immense value to their work. Bringing together all the volunteers once a year for a meeting/workshop also paves the way forward for all the programs to be updated, reports compiled, shared experiences including the setbacks and the achievements of all they do to help the communities they work with.

Defining the problem is a key aspects . Without defining the problem you cannot go through the solution. You have to understand the problem context and then you can clearly think about what will be the solution and how to objectify it. And of course remember, a well-defined problem is halfway to being solved.
