One thing that can be helpful projecting logical reasoning is through advocating benefits of it first and also teaching these skills to the students. Once parents and guardians see their kids developing these skills as these reflect in their day to day interactions and conversations, they would not oppose it. Rather, they would be partners in education to hone these skills.
