I like to start small. Show them quick wins incorporating their input. When they know you are listening to their ideas and see the benefits. They will contribute more and help to build the culture.

I believe that the best way to engage people is to show them the benefits Lean can bring to their work routine, the reduction of Muda, Muri, and Mura is always a good approach to show these benefits.

To truly empower them, follow the below steps- 1.Involve Early: Include frontline workers in planning and decision-making from the start. 2.Provide Training: Offer relevant training to help them understand and implement lean principles. 3.Encourage Input: Regularly seek and act on their feedback for continuous improvement. 4.Set Clear Goals: Define and communicate objectives clearly to align efforts with lean initiatives. 5.Recognize Achievements: Celebrate successes and contributions to boost morale and engagement. 6.Foster Collaboration: Promote teamwork and open communication to solve problems collectively.

I believe that providing all employees with White and Yellow Belt certifications lays a strong foundation for lean thinking and problem-solving. This baseline, coupled with continuous training throughout the year, enhances their capabilities in using quality and statistical tools. Offering regular workshops, seminars, and on-the-job learning opportunities ensures that workers stay current with evolving lean techniques and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and enabling them to drive operational excellence from the ground up. DOn't forget having them participating in projects as much as possible.

Providing basic knowledge on lean methodologies thru training and exercises, recognising their Ideas/ change events (kaizen), engaging with front line workers daily through Daily management system and supporting to address their daily issues.
