The most scaring thing in the design word is this. A client comes back with changes to an already completed design and no one likes it at all but you have to work around it. I have something that I call (ask why tell why), knowing why they need the change and how they want it and also explain to then why you designed it that way and with this you will be able to come to an agreement Second thing that always helps me is I tell them to make a rough sketch of what they want . You could be considered lucky if your CAD is approved in one go without any kind of changes. I would recommend to really consider what is essential to get the big idea across in your design. Ask yourself what are the essential callouts you need to design and communicate with your CAD?
