I share some with you: Tactical empathy: identifies and verbalizes the other person's emotions and perspectives without judging them. It seems like you are frustrated by how things are going. This builds trust and disarms defenses, as people feel understood. Mirroring: Imitates the other person's key words or phrases to foster connection and obtain more information. Person: "This doesn't seem fair to me." You: "Doesn't it seem fair to you?" This creates a dynamic of reflection and keeps communication open.
