I strongly agree with the mention of assessing impact on pre- planned deliverables due to the new additions and not to forget the budget and resource efficiency. I personally ask clients to send a list of new features every month before starting a sprint, add a priority to it - P1,P0 etc. and mention the expected date they want it to go live. I then, plan the same with team, and communicate the possible requests along with their budget and that way everyone has ONLY IDEAL expectations for that sprint/release.

I believe educating clients about the Agile methodology is crucial. By explaining the iterative process, the importance of prioritization, and the concept of a product backlog, clients can better understand the project's scope and expectations.

In addition to it, we can also sometimes prioritise the priorities- meaning there will still be situations when a priority for a feature will change because the business requires that. And that priority then takes over the decided one and sometimes can disturb the whole prioritised backlog. Keep checking the priorities before every sprint to reduce the iterations of these situations.

Client's expectations never end. They would always want more to be done in less time and money. It is therefore to important to be careful on how to accept the changes. At times, the feedback from the client makes its way to the development cycle directly, which causes scope creep silently. The team members must be trained on how to route the changes to the right channel for being documented and communicated to the customer.

Agile welcomes change, but it's important to evaluate new requests carefully. By considering the impact on the project, the value added, and the available resources, we can determine if incorporating new features is feasible.

Neue Anforderungen aufzunehmen sollte einen agilen Prozess nicht überm??ig stressen. Trotzdem ist es wichtig zu kommunizieren, welche Auswirkungen diese neue Anforderung hat. Blinde Zustimmung zu jeder Anfrage ist sch?dlicher für das Projekt, als an den richtigen Stellen Nein zu sagen. Trotzdem sollte jede Anfrage ernst genommen und mit der entsprechenden Sorgfalt geprüft werden!

Auch hier gilt: Die Kunst ist, die Sprache des Gegenübers zu sprechen. Manche Kunden brauchen visuelle Darstellungen des Fortschritts, manche Kundinnen fühlen sich eher mit harten Zahlen und Fakten in einer Tabelle wohl. Welches Werkzeug das richtige ist, ist genau so ein iterativer Prozess wie das restliche agile Projekt. Hier ist es vor allem wichtig eine offene Feedbackkultur zu pflegen um frühzeitig den Kommunikationsstil anzupassen. Es ist auch wichtig zu verstehen, dass Darstellungen wie Burn-Down-Charts falsche Erwartungshaltungen wecken k?nnen. Deshalb ist, wie bei jeder Kommunikation im agilen Kontext, ein gutes Verst?ndnis der agilen Methodik die Grundvorraussetzung.

I totally agree with the COMMUNICATION part of Agile process. Informing a client is one part, but maintaining a CONVERSATION around project is the real deal.
