I’d just have a straight-up conversation about why we set the timeline in the first place. Rushing can totally mess up the quality, and I’d make sure they understand that. I’d be firm but chill about the deadlines, letting them know we gotta stick to them. If changes are needed, I’d suggest some new dates that still work. Plus, I’d keep track of our chats to make sure we’re on the same page. It’s all about being real and finding a way to get it done without losing quality!

Set penalties for deadline violations. It’s all about how you set the project processes, timescales, arc when the project started. I can’t stress enough how important it is to share proposals when starting, signing a contract, etc so these can set the project in motion in a professional manner and set the expectations right.
