The first step to address concerns should be to corelate the energy data with other physical indicators such as the production (output of any business) or the consumption (inputs other than energy) data. However, it is important to realize that sometimes low utilization (of a facility meant to operate on continuous load) maybe the cause for the suspicion in the first place. While audits help, they require time and investment. A review of changes in the production process or addition of new equipment in a plant can shed light on volatility in the energy data series. Educating and communicating the importance of energy to all will enable continuous monitoring and enable accountability on key indicators critical for business success.

Robust Measurement Plan is the key for the said pain area. Following can be the four important steps : 1. Measurement - We cannot monitor what we can not measure. When adequate measuring equipments are not available, data estimation with classified assumptions to be done 2. Monitoring on regular intervals to ensure things are right and regular 3. Analyse- Analysis of the monitoring results is necessary for understanding the trends 4. Evaluate- Evaluation to reach on the conclusion for the reason for the deviation. There will be always deviation, deviation analysis will help to keep the track. Identifying relevant and significant areas for measurement, monitoring, analysis and evaluation will help us to be focused.

Energy data accuracy is important in monthly Energy billing and est savings from Energy Conservation Measure. Steps involved in addressing these concerns include: -Gathering historical energy data: This provides an insight to the client's energy usage over the years -Carrying out a Walkthrough Audit: This exercise is necessary to validate the historical data gathered -Analyse shared data and establish a baseline -Carry out a metering exercise for a period (exclusive of the client's existing metering system) -Analyse and verify the measured data against the baseline data -If significant variance is established, inspect equipment for failure and carry out facility re-commissioning to ensure installed equipments are functioning as designed.
-
To ensure data accuracy, maintain open communication, providing transparent updates on how your data is managed and addressing discrepancies promptly. Conducting regular audits to verify data accuracy and employ advanced, real-time monitoring systems for immediate anomaly detection. Predictive analytics anticipate potential issues, enhancing efficiency, and we safeguard your data with strong security measures.

I spent more than 20 years in improving data, analysis, and prediction for energy and other application areas. Current state variable science is severely inadequate to deliver accurate data, analysis, and prediction. My effort has resulted in what is now known as the RESPR reasuring based on the Stalker method for CFD/NWP modeling. I wish there was an easier way for people to get what they are seeking, but, unfortunately, there aren't any. I am giving weekly webinars to introduce folks to these science-shaping solutions. Interested folks should check one out.
