In my career in chemical process engineering, safety is always the number one priority. I will work with customers to meet their demands and resolve them in a way that does not lose sight of our focus on safety. In the long-run nor jeopardizing safety is the best for all parties. In my experience in the chemical process industry, we are always working to improve quality, increase throughout, and reduce down-time. Turn-arounds are well planned out ahead of time, and I always enjoy visiting the manufacturing plant on weekends and observe the high technology process running around the clock. Once you've experienced this over time, the pride and teamwork is an amazing experience.
