It could be: * Setting small goals * Reading a book together about the subject * Finding a good mastermind group to model how to get out of your comfort zone in an inclusive setting With all of the above , include Positive Reinforcement!

As a coach, I would help the business owner explore what’s holding them back. Through powerful questions like “What opportunities could arise if you stepped outside your comfort zone?” I’d invite them to reflect on how staying comfortable may limit their growth. We’d examine the benefits and risks of change, and I’d encourage them to define what success looks like beyond their current boundaries. By deepening their self-awareness and fostering confidence, they can make empowered choices that align with their vision for growth.

I don't know anyone who would willingly leave their comfort zone where they are happy. it would be foolish. People leave their comfort zone when they perceive that they are not likely to be comfortable soon with changes taking place around them, and how they can be safer moving into a new zone, where they have to build their comfort. This is basic psychological learning theory. The coach needs to create awareness of why the change is essential for growth and success, and how without change there is a serious risk of damage. The client needs to be shown similar cases outlining actions taken. They then need to be provided with the learning and skills to make the shift. The coach needs to follow through and reinforce.
