Sometimes, sharing is not caring, and you do have to create a separation of your “work life”, “personal life”, and “philanthropic life”. Building relationships and connectivity are great, but sometimes there are the challenges that come with it — such as where the line gets blurred. Sometimes discretion is required to ensure privacy of those who contribute. There isn’t really such a thing these days as a “silent repost”, and you need to respect both individuals who help silently, and others who are more vocal of their values and support. Always ask individuals of their preferences in being named in donations/volunteering, and also note that for some individuals, they are donating their time and energy and may not be able to donate money
