I want to share my personal experience in the area of application development, and specifically in the area of Application Quality Assurance (QA). As the person in charge of the IT area, I was responsible for the improvements and corrections of the core application (the most important in the organization). We released on average between 5 and 10 improvements and corrections a week, and we had to be very accurate and precise in the release protocols to production, maintaining a strict review of the Quality Assurance activities, where we had a QA as a Service, with a third party. The key to the correct operation was that the process and the "core" activities never stopped being the responsibility of the organization.

To ensure seamless collaboration between in-house and outsourced QA teams, establish clear communication and unified processes. Use shared project management tools like Jira or Asana to collectively track issues and progress. Schedule regular joint meetings—such as weekly syncs or daily stand-ups via Zoom or Microsoft Teams—to align priorities and discuss updates. Define clear roles and responsibilities to prevent overlap. Create a shared documentation repository using platforms like Confluence or SharePoint. By fostering open communication and a collaborative culture, you can effectively balance priorities between both teams.
