Of course, you can sure find ways to use something interesting from that look if it helps you to grow and evolve your vision as a photographer, that uniqueness that makes your style. Again, trends come and go in a short time but, on the other hand, your vision is the work of a lifetime. A trend is just a trend, but is not a style: that’s the difference.
