There are no boundaries in entrepreneurship. Focus on maximizing resilience rather than minimizing emotional load. Start with yourself. Breathe deeply. Maintain perspective with a mantra like “this is hard but I won’t die.” Repeat it whenever you’re struggling. Pour into your loved ones, especially spouse and children. Set aside focused time for them every day, ideally in a ritualized way (e.g. I pray with my kids before dropping them off at school and when they go to sleep). Laugh and play with others. This could be a sports league, a hobbyist group, or a faith community. Invest in things that feed your soul and have nothing to do with work.

I follow these guidelines to handle emotional aspects - First, I establish clear boundaries to protect personal time as it fosters creativity and resilience. Second, I cultivate/maintain a diverse support network of mentors/peers who provide me invaluable insights and encouragement. Third, I incorporate mindfulness practices into my routine - these techniques help me maintain clarity under pressures. Fourth, I embrace vulnerability - I share my experiences, both successes and failures, to create authentic connections. I try to foster a culture of open dialogue within my team, inviting different perspectives those enrich decision-making. And the last but not the least, I prioritize self-care to nurture both my mind and business.
